چکیده

برآورد تراز سطح آب رودخانه در بازه جزر و مدی رودخانه یک ابزار مناسب برای مدیریت سیلاب رودخانه‌هایی است که در مناطق ساحلی واقع شده‌اند. انتشار امواج جزر و مدی در این بازه به سمت بالادست و ترکیب آن با سیلاب رودخانه موجب افزایش محدوده سیلاب‌دشت و ریسک آسیب می‌شود. در این تحقیق بازه اهواز-خرمشهر در رودخانه کارون به عنوان مطالعه موردی انتخاب و مدل‌های مختلف خطی و غیر خطی برای پیش بینی تراز سطح آب بر اساس دبی جریان بالادست بررسی گردیده است. با توجه به ماهیت جریان سیلاب جزر و مدی، تحلیل در دو حالت انجام شد. در حالت اول مجموعه کامل داده‌های ثبت شده مورد بررسی قرار گرفته شد و در حالت دوم بر اساس تحلیل سری بالاتر از حد آستانه، داده‌های سیلاب جزر و مدی استخراج شد. تحلیل باقیمانده‌های مدل‌ها در دو حالت نشان داد که مدل‌های خطی قابل پذیرش نیستند بنابراین مدل‌های غیر خطی تبدیل یافته که فرم‌هایی از مدل خطی می‌باشند نیز برای مدل سازی در نظر گرفته شد. بر اساس جزییات تحلیل بخش واسنجی معادلات توانی با بهبود ضریب تبیین، واریانس تقریبا ثابت و توزیع نرمال به عنوان معادله مناسب در هر دو حالت نتیجه گیری شده است. مدل‌های منتخب برای بخش صحت سنجی در دو حالت بکار گرفته شد. نتایج قابلیت پذیرش این مدل‌ها، با توجه به سادگی آن‌ها و نیز کارایی بهتر مدل‌ها در حالت اول نسبت به حالت دوم را تایید می‌کند.
