چکیده

پلوم رودخانه اروند که اصلی­ ترین منبع آب شیرین برای خلیج فارس بوده، حوضه آبریز آن سکونت ­گاه حدود 54 میلیون نفر انسان در منطقه است، از پدیده­ های مهم در مناطق ساحلی است. رودخانه اروند، مرز دو کشور ایران و عراق بوده، پلوم آن در خلیج فارس در قلمرو سه کشور ایران، عراق و کویت شکل می­ گیرد. این موضوع به ­همراه مشکلات سیاسی و امنیتی منطقه و همچنین کم ­عمق بودن دهانه رودخانه، علت کمبود اندازه ­گیری­ های میدانی در منطقه و ناشناخته ماندن دبی رودخانه اروند است. با وجود مشکلات ناشی از کمبود داده‌های میدانی، این مطالعه از جدی­ ترین تلاش ­ها برای درک ساختار پلوم این رودخانه مهم است. در این تحقیق، چرخش آب و دما و شوری خلیج فارس، با استفاده از مدل FVCOM مدل ­سازی شد. سپس حساسیت ساختار سطحی پلوم رودخانه اروند نسبت ­به تغییرات دبی و باد مورد بررسی دقیق ­تر قرار گرفت. به این منظور 14 حالت مختلف باد به ­علاوه 8 حالت مختلف دبی به مدل اعمال شد. نتایج نشان داده که پلوم رودخانه اروند از نوع «پلوم گسترده در سطح» است و حساسیت بالایی نسبت ­به تغییرات باد دارد. افزایش سرعت باد، عموما سبب کاهش مساحت پلوم شد. حالت­ های مختلف باد سبب ایجاد سه نوع پلوم در دهانه این رودخانه شد. در نوع اول پلوم به سمت سواحل شمال ­غربی خلیج فارس و در نوع سوم به سمت سواحل کویت منحرف می­شود. در نوع دوم پلوم در امتداد مسیر ورود آب رودخانه به دریا حرکت کرده، به طرفین منحرف نمی ­شود. این جابجایی پلوم صرفا به دلیل جابجایی توده آّب سطحی است.
