Caviar-producing fish with their economically valuable product are important in fisheries. The cDNA growth hormone (GH) of Sturgeon fish Huso huso was constructed using total RNA from pituitary glands. To construct the recombinant and active lentiviruses carring GH gene, this DNA sequence was inserted into the cloning vector pTZ57R/T and subsequently cutted from pTZ57R/T by endonuclease enzyme and incorporated into lentivirus vector pNL-EGFP/CMV-WPRE on upstream of an IRES cassette. We also insert a reporter EGFP gene downstream of IRES so transfection and transduction steps can be traced. Using this vector plus virus packaging and envelope vectors, HEK-293T cells was co-transfected by DNA-Lipofectamine complex method. Cell supernatant full of virions was collected 48 hours later and concentrated using Amicon columns to obtain a high-titer virus stock. Nearly 1/5 of this stock was applied to a new batch of cultured HEK-293T. After 72h expression of EGFP gene was Detected and the cells was collected for further analysis. Total RNA of these transduced cells was Extracted and GH mRNA expression was revealed by RT-PCR. Results showed that, lentiviral vectors (LV) as a gene transfer system provide efficient delivery, integration and long-term expression by establishing a stable provirus in target cells and could be An important tool in aquaculture and fisheries biotechnology research to increase the growth rate of farmed fish by transferring growth hormone (GH) transgenes into fish.

The properties of kiddi shrimp (Parapenaeopsis stylifera) gel added with different levels of microbial transglutaminase (MTGase) (0.6, 1, 1.4 and 1.8 units/g) were studied. Most textural parameters of the gels improved by adding MTGase espacially in higher levels (1.8 and 1.4). The expressible moisture and trichloroacetic acid content declined with the increase in MTGase content. MTGase espacially in higher levels was effective in the color of the gels so that it increased L and decreased a and b. SDS-PAGE study revealed that myosin heavy chain enderwent polymerization to a higher extent in the presence of MTGase. Microstructure of gels added with 1.8 units of MTGase had more ordered fibrillar structure compared with those of gels without MTGase. Therefore MTGase play an important role in improving the gel properties of kiddi shrimp mince.

The rivers that pour to seas and oceans are known as tidal rivers. A governing factor on tidal rivers is tidal bores which are produced by the gravity of moon and sun. Reflection of waves from beaches and the shape of beaches and effects of shallow water, effect on tidal bores in the mouth of tidal rivers. These factors convert tidal bores from time periodic condition to no periodic condition. Tidal bores move to upstream of river while fluvial flows go toward downstream of river. Because of combination of Tidal bores and fluvial flows, hydraulic and hydrologic conditions are very complex in the tidal rivers. Measurement of velocity and discharge of current is impossible in the tidal limit of tidal rivers. For determination of stage-discharge curves, an especial method is needed. In this research, water surface elevation is estimated by using discharge of fluvial flow in Ahvaz and tidal height in Khoramshar in tidal limit of the Karun River (from Khoramshar to Darkhovein). Water surface elevation is shown by structural curves and regression relations. These curves and relations are suitable tools for determination of water surface elevation in the tidal limit of the Karun River by using discharge of fluvial flow in Ahvaz and tidal height of Khoramshar.

Abstract: In this article estimation of storm surge dominated wave height in Iranian coastlines of Oman sea have performed for Geuno storm period, Improved version of a 2D model which produced by Maa in 1990 used in this study (Maa Jerome P.-Y., 1990). Variant temporal and spatial wind pattern can be used in this model as well as steady wind pattern in risk studies. This paper focused on the Geuno Storm because of wind data accessibility for this period and results compared with satellite data. Efficient results show that this model can be uses for estimate of high of water dominated by storm surge in Oman for other storm events. One of the solutions for the rapid draw down influences of sewage into stagnant ambient fluids such as seas and oceans is the utilizing of submerged jets. The exploitation of submerged jets reduces the peril and risk of creating wastewater to ambient environment in the water resources. Th. This study shall focus on the impact of the vertical angle; draw down discharge and density of the flow on the distribution pattern of a single density jet. In the experiments programming, a physical model was used and a total of 27 tests were performed. The experiments were carried out on 3 vertical angles of 30°, 45° and 60° respectively, 3 discharge rates and 3 different concentration of the injected fluid. The results obtained is focused on the maximum height parammbient fluid and the jet flow injection occurs. Moreover; a direct relationship can be observed between the non-dimensional parameters of the maximum height of trajectory point and the Densymetric Frude number in all of the vertical angles. While, the slope coefficient of this variation for the angles of 30°, 45° and 60° degrees are 1.18, 1.97 and 2.33 respectively. Findings show a 72% decrease of longitudinal parameter of trajectory (Xmax/dp) due to increasing vertical angle from 30 to 60 degrees. In addition, in the lower vertical angles of jets the effect of Densymetric Frude number is increased.

Benzo[a]pyrene (BaP), is a ubiquitous environmentalcontaminant present in air, water, andsediment . BaP is readily absorbed by all routes of exposure and can pass directly through the plasma membrane of most cell types. The present study was conducted to examine the effects of BaPon liver tissue structure in orange spotted grouper Epinepheluscoioidesaffected by different concentration of BaP.In the present report, 100 E.coioides were exposed by intraperitoneal injection to 2, 20 and 200 mg/kg of BaPfor 14d under laboratory conditions and the samples were taken from fish liver in days 0, 2, 4, 7 and 14 of experiment for histopathological study. The liver sampleswere fixed in 10%formalin buffer solution. Five-micrometer thick sections were obtained and were stained in hematoxylin/eosin for examination in light microscopy. No pathological alteration was observed in the liver samples of controls fish. The pathological alterations of liver were including of hepatocyte vacuoletion, increase of melanomacrophagecenters, dilation of dissspace, sinusoidal dilation, focal necrosis, hepatocytes hypertrophy, nucleus in a lateral positionand hepatocyte degeneration. The frequency and severity of tissue changes raised with the increase of BaP concentration in all sampling days. The most frequency and severity of histopathological alteration were observed in fish treated by 200 mg/kg BaP in day 7.

The Study of Petrochemical Industries Sewage Effects on the Water Quality in Khor Musa Abstract Imam Khomeini petrochemical complex is situated at the northwest part of the Persian Gulf where discharged its sewage to the seawater.Samples were collected using Van Dorn sampler, bimonthly from four sites during December 2009 to May 2010. The seawater physicochemical parameters such as DO, pH, BOD, total ammonia, total phosphorous and turbidity were measured and among them, BOD (5.05ppm), total ammonia (2.51ppm) and total phosphorous (0.3ppm) showed higher than standard values. Based on water quality scoring (WQS), all sites showed 2.66 values which classified as bad water quality. During this study, BOD, total ammonia and phosphorous showed significantly (p
