Ports in order to increase income and prosperity looking to create attractions and incentives to attract shippers and ship owners. Port in a geographic area has the potential for development can play a central role or hub port compared to other competitors, and attract more goods and thus better economic situation. Increased competition to attract companies and ships in the Persian Gulf ports of Jebel Ali and surveying the challenges and factors affecting hub ports are necessary southern Iran. The first three southern port of Chabahar, martyr Rajai and Imam Khomeini, the hub of the five main indicator of geographic location, operations, Hinterland, economic and customs using multi-criteria analysis, AHP model were compared and prioritized. The results of the analysis shows that the indicators, factors related to the geographical location of the 50.7% and 5.6% respectively, the highest and lowest priority customs and the best port, Port martyr Rajai weighing 64.6% of the greater importance of the hub is entitled to two ports. The second section examines the significance of each of the factors affecting the martyr Rajai Port Hub latest deals. Statistical information for the analysis and testing hypotheses from binomial test was used and the application spss16. The results show that the port services, port location, Infrastructure and superstructure and speed Customs the most effective and the least impact on the dry port hub is the latest martyr Rajai port.

In this study, post-mortem changes, including chemical, physical, microbial and sensorial changes, were performed in “Gatan” during ice storage. For this purpose, 18 fishes with Average weight 251.4 ± 4.24 g were transferred to the wet laboratory of Khorramshahr University of Marine Science and Technology, and in order to adapt to the laboratory conditions and to remove the stress caused by displacement, They were kept under favorable conditions for a week. Samples were catch immediately stored in ice for 72 hours, and meat quality indices were measured at 0, 6, 12, 24, 48 and 72 hours after death. The results showed that pH, TBA, FFA indices increased during storage period, TVBN initially decreased and then increased Microbiological studies also showed that the Cyrophile bacteria had no growth during the maintenance period. The amount of mesophilic bacteria at time zero was 2.53 ± 1.53 and then at 6, 12, and 24, it was descending process towards the zero hour. It then gradually increased and maintained at 1.72 ± 0.72 at the Seventy second hour of storage. Sensory evaluation of the fish showed that they had a suitable and acceptable condition for up to 24 hours after storage at the ice. During the maintenance period, the gradual decrease in acceptability was reduced and at 72 hours, most of the sensory analysis indexes obtained lower scores, and samples at that hour were the lowest quality during the maintenance period. Therefore, the use of ice to maintain long-term fish is not an appropriate method.

Different stunning/slaughtering methods could significantly influence flesh quality of fish during storage time. Hence, the aim of present study was to explore the effects of two stunning/slaughtering methods including electroshock and asphyxia in the air on sensory, microbiological and chemical alterations of silver carp during 5 days storage in ice. The results showed a gradual increase in counts with time for mesophilic and psychrophilic bacteria in both methods. However, comparing the results showed mesophilic and psychrophilic counts were significantly lower in fish stunned by electroshock methods at the end of study. In case of chemical characteristics, no significant differences between two stunning/slaughtering methods were observed. Also the results of sensory analysis did not show significant differences between the two methods and quality index was highly correlated with time during ice storage. Hence, despite of no significant differences in chemical and sensory characteristics, the results showed growth rate and total counts of bacteria were significantly lower in fish slaughtered by electroshock.

Power requirements increase severely in rough weather because of added resistance induced by water wave. Amplitude of this additional resistance is between 15 to 30 percent of the ship calm water total resistance. Nowadays, one of the important issue in naval architect is to design a ship hull with minimum added resistance that produce less greenhouse gas. There are several numerical viscous and non-viscous method like strip theory, panel method and RANS method. With respect to accuracy and cost calculations, 3-D panel method is the best choice for analysis ship behavior in wave. By using frequency domain Green's function 3-D panel method added resistance of S-175 containership is computed by far filed and near field approaches. To investigate the effect of wave incident and wavelength, calculations are performed in different incident angle and wavelength. Also by using an accurate and fast empirical validated method that have recently been proposed, added resistance in head sea are calculated for different wavelength and ship speed. Far field and near field results are consistent with good accuracy. Numerical and empirical results are compared with experimental that shows high accuracy results.

This study was conducted using continuous hydrological modeling available in HEC-HMS model with respect to SMA method for Zard River basin in Iran. To perform the HEC-HMS model in the present study, spatial data such as soil map, digital elevation model, land use land cover map were used to define catchment boundary and other physiological characteristics of basin. The model was calibrated for period of 1975-1978 and it was validated for the period of 1978-80. The evaluation of calibrated model showed that the performance of the model ranges from good to very good with a coefficient of determination for monthly volumes =0.92, Log =0.93, Percentage error for monthly volumes (PEV)=1%, Root Mean Square Error of daily peak flows (RMSE)=8.5(m^3/s) and Mean Absolute Error of daily peak flows (MAE)=3.2(m^3/s). Sensitivity analysis showed that soil storage and tension storage are most sensitive parameters and initial GW2 content and GW2 percolation are least sensitive parameters in the model. From the results it can be concluded that SMA method in HEC-HMS conceptual model perform good enough and can be used for continuous long-term rainfall-runoff modeling in Zard River basin.

The mineral resources of the Caspian Sea attract the most attention and this region been one of the most significant geopolitical and economic centers in Eurasia. The utilization of valuable minerals will have a significant effect on the economic development of the region. The sea is a rich source of lithium; its analysis in the Caspian Sea has been evaluated using the flame atomic emission spectroscopy as a simple, fast and reliable method with high accuracy and sensitivity. In this study, water samples were collected from estuaries, surface and depth waters of Babolsar, Mahmoudabad, Freydonkenar in the central southern coast of the Caspian Sea. After sample treatments, the lithium in water samples was measured by standard addition and atomic emission spectrophotometer. The average amount of lithium were determined in estuaries: 15.3±1.1, 14.6±2.2 and 42.3±3.3 µgL-1, in surface waters: 181.7±60.9, 220.0±28.0 and 222.2±10.8 µgL-1, in depth waters 143.7±1.8, 175.8±4.2 and 196.2±5.2 µgL-1 in stations Babolsar, Freydonkenar and Mahmoudabad respectively. The results show that concentration of lithium is reduced with increasing distance from the coastline. The difference between lithium concentration in surface and depth waters have not showed a significant difference in three stations.
